Compositae Anthemis nobilis L.

The camomile plant is a much branched perennial herb with finely cut leaves, bearing flowers about an inch in diameter. For medicinal or condiment purposes, the flowers only are used. They are cut as soon as fully expanded and dried. The main use is in medicine. No data are available on production in the U.S.
