Striate clover

Leguminosae, Fabaceae Trifolium striatum L.

Source: Magness et al. 1971

This is a winter annual clover, apparently introduced by chance and now established in the South. It is adapted to heavy, wet soils. It appears less palatable to livestock than most other winter annual clovers, especially at the flowering stage and later when it becomes harsh and tough.
