|Brad Miller, production manager, patterned the original project after the Eliot Coleman system.||Jennifer Case and Lali Hess used much of the produce through “Rustic Gourmet” catering service which they owned and operated.|
|The 96' long frame was constructed over planted beds.||Specialty leaf lettuce grew well in the cold house as did spinach and arugula.|
Shade cloth was added to extend production longer into the summer.
|Weeds were minimized in heavily composted, pre-tilled, and mulched planting beds.|
