Co-op Release Description

Matures August 6 to 11 at Lafayette, Indiana (3 weeks before 'Prima'). Fruit 2-5/8 to 3 inches, roundish oblate. Color 90% medium to dark red on a green-yellow background. Flesh cream-colored, fine grained, very crisp and juicy. Flavor mild sub-acid. Dessert quality very good and comparable with that of cultivars maturing several weeks later. Storage life about 8 weeks. Tree field immune to scab and cedar apple rust, slightly susceptible to powdery mildew and fireblight. Tree bears precociously. Tested as HFR20T42.
