Co-op Release Description

Matures September 15 to 25 at Lafayette, Indiana (3 weeks after 'Prima' and with 'Jonathan') but hangs well on tree without loss of quality or firmness. Fruit 2-1/2 to 2-3/4 inches, oblate to roundish. Color 80 to 90% medium red on a yellow background, very glossy and smooth. Flesh cream colored, fine grained, very crisp and juicy. Flavor mild sub-acid and spicy. Dessert quality very good. Fruits retain texture and firmness for 6 months in storage. Field immune to scab and good resistance to powdery mildew. Tree is small and spreading. Tested as HCR15T137.
